BECAUSE WE CARE INITIATIVE
The Because We Care Initiative is an initiative of Camel, a PZ Cussons Brand, in partnership with the Ghana Medical Association and Lions Club International District 418 Ghana, to bring hope to families with a child with Childhood Cancer.
The Because We Care Initiative is doing this by providing access to financial support to families who cannot afford the expensive medical treatments (between $1,400 to $5,000) needed, to treat children with cancer.
Starting in September 2021, which is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Camel will contribute 10p from the sale of every bottle of Camel Antiseptic Liquid to support families. The Because We Care Initiative is committed to providing GHS 250,000 to support families.
