CAMEL TREASURE HUNT PROMOTION

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ENTRY AND PARTICIPATION

The following terms and conditions apply exclusively to the Camel Treasure Hunt Promotion (“Promotion”) and all participants in the Promotion are deemed to have read, understood and accepted the terms:

Eligibility

This Promotion is valid only in Ghana and participation in the Promotion is restricted to persons who are legally resident in Ghana and are 18 years and above.
Employees and family members of employees of PZ Cussons, Distributors and Stockists of PZ Cussons, PHD Media, Market Insight, EXP Ghana Ltd, and all other suppliers and third parties directly involved with the facilitation of this Promotion will not be eligible to participate in the Promotion.

Promotion Period

The Promotion will run from January 2024 to April 2024
PZ Cussons reserves the right to change the date of the Promotional period should it deem this to be necessary and will notify the general public should the dates

Promotion Mechanics

Buy any Camel Antiseptic product with a scratch panel at any outlet across Ghana.
Scratch the panel to reveal a code and text the code to the 1393 free of charge With each submission, an SMS response will be sent confirming entry into the promo and containing a single letter from the set: C,A,M,E,L.
All customers win airtime rewards instantly for every entry
A weekly selection of 2 customers will be made for rewards. Participants will qualify based on skill, answering questions correctly about Camel/Carex to win amazing prizes. There will be,
1. Weekly winners of GHS 1,000.00 each for 13
2. Monthly winners of a 3-minute shopping spree worth GHS 5,000.00 each for 2
3. Finally for the grand prize, the first customer to find all the letters of A.M.E.L in their SMS responses wins a whopping GHS 100,000.00

Rules of Participation

Participants are not required to opt in to win. All Participant win once they send the code on the scratched panel to the indicated number 1393.
There is no restriction on the number of times a participant can participate and win airtime however a participant can only win the weekly prize, monthly prize and the grand prize once.
Prizes are redeemable in Ghana only and are non-transferable.
Redemption is only valid within the duration of the Promotion unless PZ Cussons finds it expedient to communicate a new date.
A consumer on sending the code to the short code will instantly win free airtime, in addition to participating in the weekly draw.
Airtime redemption will be done by the Telco It will be instant upon the entry of the codes.
Winners of the Camel Treasure Hunt will receive a call live on air or a live session via our official digital channel. The channels will be communicated to the general Any other source is invalid, and PZ Cussons will not be held liable for it.
Under no circumstances shall participants be required to make any form of commitments (be it monetary or otherwise) in order to redeem their Any prompting of that sort is fraudulent. PZ Cussons reserves the right to amend or withdraw this Promotion or any of the Prizes or to amend these terms and conditions in relation to any or all Prizes without notice in the event of any unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable
PZ Cussons reserves the right to terminate or temporarily suspend this Promotion in the event of technical or other difficulties that might compromise its integrity or operation.
Winners cannot opt out of any of the grand prize awards or activities.
All taxes related to the prizes given to consumers will be handled by the customer.

Use of Personal Data

The winners of each of the Prizes may be required to take part in publicity. This may include photographs, participation in press conferences, interviews, written and spoken material, all of which may be used by PZ Cussons as it deems By entering the Promotion, you agree to the use of your name and image by PZ Cussons for such publicity purposes.
All participants also agree in participating in the Promotion to the use by PZ Cussons of their names, pictures, video footage, photographs, images, television appearances, interviews, recorded, written and spoken material in which he/she appears, makes or gives, for the use of all promotional and publicity purposes for which the promotion is intended, in such a manner and for such a period as PZ Cussons deems fit.
All participants agree and accept that all rights in any such photographs, films or recordings belong to PZ Cussons, against which no claim shall lie for its use without limit of time.
All ownership and intellectual property rights in the footage and visuals taken of any participant, his/her family and surrounding onlookers is and shall at all times remain the sole property of PZ Cussons.
Use of the materials stated above shall be at PZ Cussons’ discretion and PZ Cussons shall be entitled to disclose any of the participant’s details for administering the Promotion, marketing and research-related activities, fraud prevention and among other purposes as may be provided in the terms and conditions herein, and within the law.

Disqualification and Termination

The Promotion is offered at the sole discretion of PZ Cussons and PZ Cussons reserves the right to amend or vary these terms and conditions or to suspend/amend/terminate the Promotion at any time. In case any of these circumstances arises, notice of such variation will be given by PZ Cussons through media advertisements. The notice will be effective immediately or on such date as shall be set out in such notifications.
PZ Cussons reserves the right at its sole discretion to refuse to allow a participant to redeem his/her prize upon the following:
- Detection of fraud or attempted fraud relating to the participant; or
- Any attempt to disrupt, tamper with or unfairly influence the Promotion, or its operation, by a participant or
- Breach of any of these terms and conditions; or
- Such illegal circumstance as may be determined by PZ Cussons.

If participation in the Promotion is terminated under any of the circumstances set out above, the participant will lose the right to redeem his/her prize and the same will be deemed to have been In addition, PZ Cussons reserves the right to take appropriate legal action, as it deems necessary, to recover damages and other expenses incurred in pursuing such action.

Participants will not be required to send any money, airtime or any other consideration to participate in the Promotion or to claim a prize.
In participating in the Promotion, all participants acknowledge and agree that PZ Cussons will not be held liable for any losses or other damage incurred by the participant.
Although PZ Cussons has used reasonable efforts to ensure that all information and materials relating to the Promotion are accurate, PZ Cussons shall not be liable for any inaccuracy or errors in such information and/or material. PZ Cussons, its agents and subcontractors will also not be responsible for any loss or damage to a participant, whether caused by itself or a third party arising from any or all of the following:

Matters outside the control of PZ Cussons, its agents and subcontractors, including but not limited to force majeure events, such as acts of God, fire, flood, storm or other natural disaster, act of government, riot or civil unrest, strike, lock out, computer viruses and power outages.
Any technical failure or malfunction, or any other problem with any machine, telephone network or system, service provider, software or otherwise that may result in missing characters in the Promotional packs, any entry being lost or not properly received, registered or recorded.
Any unforeseen defects in Promotional materials supplied or manufactured by third parties, including but not limited to scratch panels.

These terms and conditions are subject to interpretation by PZ Cussons and any questions or disputes regarding a participant’s eligibility for the Promotion, the number of entries and a participant’s compliance with these terms and conditions shall be resolved by PZ Cussons. The decision of PZ Cussons shall be final.
